Northern railway Delhi has given 50% refund instead of 100% on cancellation of ticket having PNR No. 4524166396 of Rajdhani train which was running 11 hrs. late for no fault of mine. This 50% refund has come after waiting for 6 months.
Now IRCTC, Delhi is re-opening the case for balance 50% refund as they feel that there was no delay on my part or on their part in registering the TDR (ticket deposit receipt) to Northern Railways, Delhi.
I am feeling harassed by on line reservation through IRCTC. Had I purchased the ticket from Railways window, I would have got the refund on journey date itself.
Is there any way to improve the electronic ticket refund.
