This is SELVAM.C from Chennai working as a structural Engineer in oil & gas projects. After several research and feedback from team-bhp India with compression of cars I had choose Maruthi Swift VDI Abs for my personal use, Which is good in its mileage and maintenance. I preferred to book in Popular Vehicles, Pallikarnai that was close to my residence from Madipakkam, Chennai.
I had booked my Maruthi Swift VDI ABS CAR (RED) on 25 Dec by paying an advance of INR 10, 000 to the Popular vehicles, while booking the on road price of the vehicle was around INR 6, 29, 782 and the delivery date mentioned in the letter given by Popular was 3 months. Since I am salaried employee I planned to take loan trough ICICI bank limited and my loan got approved by the month of Jan itself for rate of interest of 10.5%.
Problems in Delivery of car:
Popular promised me to deliver the car by the mid of March but they failed to do so. After that they informed me that the car will be delivered by April and the same was not done for the second time as well. At last they called me on 25th April and stated that the car will be delivered by 2nd May without fail, so I paid sum of INR 2, 50, 000 by cheque to Popular by 27th April. But by the next day the Popular informed me that there is Callback of all the VDI ABS vehicles from Maruthi that was delivered from the month of Jan so the delivery of the vehicle will be delayed without mentioning the dates. From the date of booking of my car it was more than 4 months now, the On road price also got increased by INR 15, 000 and the rate of interest gone up to 11.5% from ICICI. Now am not in situation to bare the increased amounts.
So kindly do the needful to deliver the car as earlier as possible. Thank you in advance and waiting for your reply.
