I have booked a ticket for my mother through e-ticketing to travel from Aluva to New Delhi on 10 Mar 10 by Kerala Express.
Since she was traveling alone from there and in last minute panic for the traveling, she forgot to carry the valid photo id with her. Despite repeated request for not charging the entire ticket value the TTE did not listen and have charged an amount of Rs. 825/- (One and half times more than the reserved fare) from her, assuring her that the the amount of the her e-ticket would be refunded.
The fine has been charged by receipt No AC364133
PNR number of e-ticket is 4214590774.
Kindly instruct what need to be done to get the refund of the same.
Also I would like to put in record that fining a ticket which have an one and only claimer to travel from the originating station it is a great crime against the citizen of India (greater more on senior citizen) to penalize in such a way to leave them bankrupt from the originating station even to have a mouthful of bread to live.
I wish railway earn prosper with such illegitimate earning against humanity.
