ACKWARD POLICY IN CANCELLATION OF BOOKED TICKETS

I booked a ticket for a show for 12 p.m with cinemax online in a transaction (232778) on 09th Jan at hyderabad cinemax. There is a processing time lag while getting the confirmation and i tried with another transaction for another movie for 10 am (232835) which got confirmed first, Then i got the former confimed as well. Now immediatly i posted a mail for cancellation of the first transaction as i can't watch both the movies at the same time (I guess!) even i couldn't reach the customer care numbers both in mumbai and hyderabad. After 24 hours of my request for cancellation, i get a vague response that they cannot cancel the tickets. It is so painful that even i tried to cancel the same by enquiring at the counter, who are not supportive at all.

I need the refund of my first transaction which i am not able to get any sort of response from cinemax.
