Compaq laptop model no. CQ62-455TU, serial no. CNF1064BH4 on 26.03.2011
from Computer Shopee, Basement Raahat Plaza, 172 Arcot Road, Vadapalani, Chennai 600026 Phone No. 044-42136668. On 28 Mar when I was operating the Lap top it was getting hanged or it was not getting booting up and hence I was not able to work on it.
A complaint has been registered on toll free no. 1800112267 and they gave a case id no. 4627943914 and advised me to give it to Maha electronics Pvt Ltd, No. 53 A, First floor, Shiv Enclave, Pankaj Mill road, Near GEM hospital, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore Phone No. 0422-2324698.
Accordingly on 31 Mar I visited Maha Electronics Pvt Ltd and told the problems of the system. The engineer received the lap top for checking the said problems. On further enquiry the engineer told that there is a problem in the Mother board and will get it replaced within 2-3 days. On further enquiry on 04 Apr the engineer informed that the replaced mother board by the company is also a defective one.
It is also pertinent to mention that spending of rupees 30000/- for a lap top from a well reputed company has become a burden/mental stress to me.
I request your good office to replace the lap top at the earliest to get relief from the mental stress which I am passing through for the last one week. At present our lap top is with the above said HP service centre vide their token no. Mar 216 dated 31 Mar.
