I'm really disheartened the way HCL treats it customer after selling out their product. In my case, i bought an HCl desktop PC from a dealer in ghaziabad. It had not even completed a year the coputer started showing signs that it actaually is a HCL computer. First the TFT, a big black spot appeared on the lower left side of the screen. I registered a complaint for the same. (don't even remember the complaint number now). HCL engineer visited and said it will be replaced (some where around March). Till date he hasn't got back with the replacement. After that I continued started using the machine, after some time its mother board crashed. For past 3 months my PC is lying with the dealer. One more thing, the dealer is even shrewd than HCL, he told if you take extended warranty, then it will be three years. Now when i somehow contacted HCL service people, they said it is only for an year in our records. The dealer says it is three years. If you see I think it is almost year and a half when i bought HCL computer. For all this time, the computer was at my place only for 4-6 months. For rest of the time, it was either not working or lying at dealer's place. Now I swear i won't take HCL coputer even if i get for free. It is really not the way to treat the customers. If HCL is going to treat its customers like this, I'm sure it will lose its customers in a hurry. Could anbody help me get my computer up and running?
