My husband had purchased alaptop from one distributor of Compaq in August at moradabad, the laptop had been having continuously problem with it's screen which finally was faulty and replaced by bareilly srervice center of HP in the month of June-July later very soon agin the software faced problems which the service center initially refused under pretext that the same is not covered under warranty but fiinally they agreed & resolved the problem (Before August)
But now again the laptop faced asimilar problem of screen not appearing on switcing on, when the laptop was taken to same bareilly service center they had exorbitant charges beyond our pocket since the piece was now out of warranty in september beginning, now the question is to HP services as to whether is it normal for a laptop to mal function so quickly in succession before even completing a year despite whwn it is being taken to ur service center far from our place of residence though it is being used single handedly with utmost care as per its user manual.
If that is the quality that is being manufactured at HP then where arises the question of customer satisfaction, he only feels cheated and the laptop appears like a burden that will keep on incurring unreasonale repair expenditures much before its normal wear n tear, now my request to HP is either to extend its warranty by a year n for once getting the machine checked for all possible existing faults in case they care for their image and customer satisfaction at all.
