Please provide me with the details of my case and please keep me updated me on the same.
MY ISSUE IS:
I joined HPSU (IIHT) for a 2 1/2 months software testing course in jul 09 which got completed as per the schedule.
I had quitted my job for this course as i wanted to update myself on my skill sets.
I was told that i would get the EXAMINATION VOUCHER in OCT 09 which i never got and finally when i am recieving it it is December.By this time i have forgotten everything that was taught to me and since i was under the impression that i would get my VOUCHER on time i joined another organization.
But due to this delay and the time gap between COURSE COMPLETION and VOUCHER issuance i have lost touch of the curriculam and dont find myself intune with the knowledge that is required to give this CERTIFICATION exam which means that if i dont score the minimum score required for this certification i would loose my Rs 45000 that i invested in this course.
Also, the welcome kit that is supposed to be given to the students in the beginning of the course has not been given to me till date.
I have been told that since this was a pilot course there were certain delays in the overall functioning/success of the course. But if this is the case then why was the course introduced without proper planning.(IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN, YOU PLAN TO FAIL).
Anyways i dont think that i am to be blamed for the delays. The management has to take care of all such issues. I had to escalate the matter as there was no communication happening neither from IIHT not HP side.
Till date the issue remains unsolved. I was also told that my PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE was with IIHT and that they didnot have my address/email id to update me on the same.
My verdict is that when i initially joined the course i was getting all the updates about my registration/fee payment on time on my email id.
Even my HP invoice reached me on time but when it comes to delivery of PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE it never reached me at my home address although i gave my residence/other details at the time of registration with IIHT.
I was told that my mobile number was not working but i could have been intimated over email for the same. Also it is the institues responsibility to maintain the database of all the students to deal with such scenarios.
Kindly advice as to what should i do now as i am working now and it would be difficult for me to come for a revision session as organized by IIHT and i KINDLY request you to atleast keep me posted on the happenings as initially i got mails / updates about my certification but again i am back to square one as no one has taken the initiative to update me on whats happening.
