I am using ICICI bank credit card. Along with the monthly credit card statement, I received one broucher containing details of product which I could buy using my ICIC bank credut card. The name of the company marketing the product is AVA MERCHANDISING. I placed order for two nos. of Benetton wrist watch with AVA merchandising over phone at their toll free number. as mentioned in the broucher and as told by the representative, the product was going to be delivered to me within 21 days. However at the time of placing the order I told AVA people to make it within two week or so to which they did not promise me but assured me that sionce the product is to be delivered at Gurgaon and their office is also at Gurgaon so there are chances of me getting the product within two weeks.
My credit card account has been debited on 20.05.10 for an amount of Rs. 1980/- for two watches plus Rs. 200/- as delivery charges. But till date (14.06.10) I have not received the product. I contacted the custom support of AVA merchandising thrice but they keep on lingering the issue bby postponing the delivery date for another week. Today I demanded refund but they told me that it will be processed with four week or so. And they also scolded me and told me that I am free to lodge complain in any fourum but their procedure will not change. They even told me that no interest will be given on refud of amount.
Sir/madam I am feeling helpless now. the watch I ordered for was to be used by me for giving it as a gift to my neice on her marriage. Please help me out and do the needful as I have already paid tthe amount to M/s ICICI bank.
