I had bought a sony digital camera [model-DSC-S750] ON18 MAY. Now i had a problem that no ccd picture is seen. ihad bought it from world tele communication's, pune. they told me to go to the service centre in camp named raja electronics which is the sony centre in pune. when i submitted my camera there they told me that there is a minor problem' it will cost around Rs 656 labour charges plus 250 more if any problem in lenses. i submitted my camera on 28 nov. the next morning they callsd me up saying ur camera is of no use, throw it and buy a new one. repairing will cost too much. i asked them let me know what will be the charges .they told they would call tom and tell the repairing charges.next day they called me and told that the charges will be Rs 2400. i told that i want to talk to the head of the sony service centre . they told tom he will call u .i have not recd any call still .so i called at sony toll free no. delhi . they told me i will rec the call . i have runged 7 times to the toll free no. they give me same answer . iam waiting for the call. this is how u harass ur customer . i want to know the reason for different estimation and why did tey tell me to throw the camera.
