Estrictive usages of mobile phone

I purchased mobile phone with sim card from dealer of vodafone. My number is 9769990151.Although their service is good but not economical. Hence I transferred to DOCOMO. I was surprised to know that mobile set can only be used for vodafone and other services are not allowed, as they have fitted security lock. To unlock security code, I went to vodafone gallery at Thakur Village. They declined my request to unlock code. This is just amounts to restrictive trade practice. I am 71yrs old retired person and cannot afford to buy another cell phone
