Dell XCD28 phone charging issue

Hi,

Last week i bought a new mobile Dell XCD28 and when i put the phone for charging the battery, the phone gets so much heated up. I don't know why my phone gets so much heated up. And after that fully charged then also my phone battery charge didn't lasts for a minimum 1 hour. Please respond me immediately. I have 1 year warranty for my phone
