We wanted a new water filter and zeroed in on the one from eureka forbes and called their customer care. The company sent home a sales executive by the name Byra Reddy who on agreeing to install the water filter the next day, took a full payment of ten thousand rupees from us on 28th of August. He did not even give a receipt for the payment and on demanding one said would give it the next day as he had forgotten to get the receipt book. He wrote about the payment done on a piece of paper along with his phone number for confirmation. He deliberately misses to include the date of payment which we too did not catch at that movement. Without full payment he said the booking would not be done and anyway since he would install it the next day would get the receipt book along with him. He did not turn up the next day and since that was a festival week we thought he would do it the following week. Our worry began when he did not turn up on the first two days of the following week too and on calling him would not pick our call. On contacting their customer care and scolding them we got hold of his managers number and he kept making false promises everyday for a week that he would definitely install it the very next day.

Finally a new sales person by the name Subramani (9845037752) comes to our house asking if we required a water filter. On giving him the entire background which he pretended to have not know earlier verifies with his office and says that the person by the name Byra Reddy is not authorised to take sales orders from Rajarajeshwari Nagar and is in charge of Vijayanagar area. The new sales person asks for the hand written receipt given by Byra Reddy and says he would need a copy of it to proceed further and sends his assistant for photo copying. After a few minutes the assistant comes back saying that the receipt flew off from his pocket while riding before he could take a copy of it. The sales person said he too does not have a receipt book to give a different receipt. When we asked him to leave his assistant behind and get the receipt book he magically takes out the receipt book from his bag.

He gave us a new receipt saying that the filter will be installed with in the next 24 Hrs. Its been two days since and on calling him makes false promises of delivering in the evening... the next morning so on and so forth. Theirs managers have also stopped picking our calls.
