I V Mahajan had purchased Aquaflo water purifier Model-FA, Unit no Sl No. 021230 on 040300. The complaint is regarding the AMC for the period 071207-071210. The Service franchisee of Eureka Forbes has not approached for service during this period inspite of repeated calls to the agency.
This time also, I called their helpline on 170910 for servicing & also extension of service contract. I was given request ID For extension as well as for servicing.
On 200910 A technician visited my place, but refused to do any servicing as my service contract card was not traceable by them. He told me that he would visit the next day, but he did not come. I tried to call that service agency but some small children were playing pranks.
I sent a letter to Customer Care Manager of Eureka Forbes on 240910 stating all the details. On 041010, another technician visited for servicing. He had also brought the card which clearly shows the servicing dates, accrding to that the service contract should be extended for a period of 2 years. During the process of service the technician who as he said was appointed 3 months back, broke the outlet nozzle & one of the screws, & again promise me that he would come the next day, which till today has not turned up.
I had asked Eureka Forbes helpline to send some responsible executive from Eureka Forbes to look into the matter, but after assuring also, Eureka Forbes has not given any attention to my complaint.
Kindly look into the matter as there should be punishment for such acts for taking the customers for granted.
