Very hostile, Inefficient customer care

It is highly unfortunate to narrate the horrific experience we had from the ill behaved & rude executives of Exide service care at Ghaziabad.

We purchased two Exide invatubular Gold batteries for residential use, (supposed to be the best available after assurance from dealer, priced almost 3 times the normal batteries).we chose for the most expensive batteries available just to have peace of mind as they carried replacement warranty for 3 years.(INVOICE NO 44 DATED 19-04-08, )

Just almost a year later the batteries started dying out within half an hour of usage .after multiple complaints, Our battery has been send thrice in just last 6 months bec of complaints & returned back saying that it is very normal in function. On repeated request a company service engineer was called at our home, HE NOTICED & MENTIONED IN HIS REPORT THAT AFTER FULL CHARGE THE BATTERY IS DYING WITHIN 10 MIN. (JOB NO 6474, DATED 12-07-10). We sent back the battery to exide service centre along with the report of EXIDE's service engineer that battery is not working. After few Days we were again told that battery is fine & we can take it back .whats more shocking is the highly uncalled, rude & arrogant response from the senior executives (Mr. Ashwini). He asked us to purchase a local battery as exides battery are like this only!!!

Can They please explain the following If my battery is fine:

1. WHY a local back up battery gives a normal back up on same set up.after paying three times the price why should anyone go for exide batteries at all.

2.why & how can they deny their own service engineers report that said battery is not even running for 10 min. what was the point then in sending thier service eng & wasting time & resources.

3.is there any quality assurance & measures as towards the staff behavior towards customer or EXIDE AS A COMPANY IS TOO ARROGANT FOR THAT.

4.what measures are left other than going to consumer courts like this & employing lawyers to sort the issues out.

Hope my suffering cathches the top heads fo Exide Mangement (who I am sure are un aware of the customers ordeal)
