I purchased a Godrej Air conditiner (1 Ton) from M/s Garnet, Tarnaka, Hyderabad on 14 Apr 10. The item was physically brought to my home on 14th night at 2200 hrs, and therefore installation could not take place that day. the next day, two boys came for installation at 2100 hrs. They worked till 2200 hrs, told me that they wee too tired, and would come back the next day early morning by 0700 hrs.
They turned up at 0800 hrs after two phone calls, and made me run around for connectors, wires etc. They finished installation by 1000 hrs. They handed me over the booklet and other documents, and told me to go over to the dealer for signatures/stamping of warranty card. I found that the filter and a few more components were left behind in a packet, and they had forgotten to fit them. I made a formal complaint to Godrej on 16 Apr vide complaint no. 562722. I was told that a service representative would attend within 48 hours. So far, nobody turned up. I called up the installation people several times, but noone turned up. I went to Garnet, told the proprieter about it. He promised to send the installation people. Yet, no joy.
