I had purchased a Godrej EON Refrigrator 31 LMT 4, S.No. 1203180014 on 17.06.2012 from Super Electronics, Uttam Nagar after the dealer convinced me of superb quality of this refrigrator over the other Brands. The fridge was delivered to me on 17.06.2012 at around 10.30 p.m. with the instructions to start is after 5-6 hours. Next day when I plugged the Fridge I observed this do not have appropriate cooling, a complaint was lodged with the customer care, who advised that the settings may not be appropriate and a demo was arranged. The technician during his visit on 21.06.2012 explained and changed the settings with the assurance that it will now work properly, but I was surprised to see that no freezing was taking place in the Freezer Section inspite of adjusting the settings and also the food material was getting perished. I approached the dealer and lodged the complaint with the customer care on 23.06.2012. However, on 24.06.2012 when I called up Customer care to check the status of my complaint. I was told that the complaint was lodged today itself at 12.00 p.m. After a lot of efforts, the technician visit was arranged on 25.06.2012 at around 6.30 p.m. who confimed that the Compressor is faulty and is working intermittantly. This is evident that the fridge has manufacturing defect and needs replacement. I had good faith in Godrej Products and after this event I feel that I have taken a wrong decision to trust Godrej. The issue is not yet resolved
