During my visit to Bangalore on 9/10/10, i bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mobile in spite of my friend’s advice to buy a Nokia. To my surprise after using the phone for few minutes the phone began restarting and the same problem continued to happen so. Then i immediately reported to customer care. As per their advise i contacted the local service centre at Calicut, Kerala. They did not accept the phone saying that there is problem with software and hardware. Then i had to take the phone to Bangalore where i purchased. They asked me to come back after 2days so that they could replace the phone with a new one. Then i returned back to my home at Kerala which is around 500 kms away. After two days i went back to Bangalore in hope that i would get the mobile replaced. But to my surprise they told me to leave back the phone at service centre telling that they would send me a new one by the coming friday. So far they haven’t responded properly and no action taken.
Having paid such a huge amount for the mobile, i got this much harassment from SONY ERICSSON such a reputed company. Now i want immediate replacement of the phone with Rs.4000 which i paid for travelling to Bangalore and back twice. Failing which i will be forced to go to Consumer Court explaining my grievances and call a press conference to explain the media about my grievance.
Hoping that you will take immediate action to avoid further embarrassment.
