I have purchased a 240 litres LG Fridge on Friday, July 15. The product was delivered the next day. I was promised that within 24 hrs the technician would come for a demo. However no one turned up on saturday nor sunday. Finally on sunday evening we switched on the fridge on our own.
Today ie., Monday July 18, one guy by the name of Manoj called from telephone no. : 022 - 42050911 and was very rude in talking. I had explicitly mentioned the store owner that since we all are working professionals at home we would require the demo post 8.30 pm on weekdays and saturdays & sundays he may come anytime.
I explained the same to Mr. Manoj but he faltly refused stating that they do not take calls beyound 7pm and that the company doesnt work so late nor would they be interested in attending any such calls. Recently I purchsed a SONY LCD from Vijay Sales and the SONY people came to install & give demo of the TV at 9.15pm. So certainly I can presume that appliance companies do consider the odd working hours of customers who buy their product.
I have booked a complaint at the LG Customer support (Complaint no. RNA110718006696) for someone to attend to us after 8.30pm.
But this is very pathetic on LG's part to have employed such people who cant speak decently to customers. Promises made big during purchase only to be broken later on after sales.
I will appreciate if someone attend's to my complaint. I also need contact details of higher / senior officials to escalate the whole thing...
