Please note I purchased a 47" LED television (Model LE5500) in September for almost one lakh rupees and was very happy with my purchase. However, in May the LED display suddenly went OFF and upon registering a complaint at the customer care, the service engineer attended promptly and declared that one PCB board located in the back panel needs to be replaced. Same was ordered and took almost 3 weeks to be delivered.
When the spare part finally arrived and fixed the display was still dysfunctional. Then the service engineer said that there was another part that needs to be replaced and he is not able to give any guarantee for time of delivery of the spare part. This is a very disappointing situation where in after spending so much of money for a good brand I am facing such problems. The TV broke down in May and its almost mid-July now and the problem is still not solved.
Please note all products in my house are from LG namely another television, one refrigerator, one washing machine, one microwave and computer monitor. I have laid so much trust in LG and have purchased so many products from one company only. So please uphold that trust and look into this matter as soon as possible. I want my TV to be up and working otherwise I might have to register a complaint in the consumer court. Then the whole situation will become messy. Hence kindly expedite the solving of my complaint.
