Failing to repaair the product in Guarantee period

I purchased Moserbaer DVD player from DASS Electric trading company (P) LTD. at Kothrud on 22/11/09.The product had 6 Month Guarantee. It failed to switch on from 3rd February 7 I gave it to the dealer (DASS) for repair. They sent it to MOSERBAER service centre. For 45 days the company could not repair the set claming some part was not available. Finally I asked them to return the set back to me 7 they duly returned the set without repair. They are unable to give any commitement as to when they will receive the require part 7 when the set will be repaired.
