Sir,

I have recently bought a new NOKIA 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone in the first week of MAY.

On 22nd of MAY I registered a complaint in the NOKIA CARE that the mobile is not Switching ON after the sudden switch OFF.

After Two days the NOKIA people say that the mobile was having water inside. And they said the warranty will not be covered. So having no other choice I told them to repair the mobile for the charges what so ever. They said they will inform me about the estimation the next day. But i never got the call. So i called them back and they said it still needs to be attended, it happened for 4 days. And yesterday evening i called them again (now that it has become a habit). This time they said that the mobile wont work and i should try it out somewhere else.

I used the mobile in rain the previous day only for about 10secs to make an emergency call. I didn't knew it could so easily get damaged, I have been using Sony Ericsson K800i for almost one year and i never had any stupid problem.

Is this the way NOKIA CARE works? I never used NOKIA before. And within one month the mobile goes down and the so called CARE is so disgusting. For me buying a NOKIA 5800 is a great deal. Rs.14000/- is not a small matter for me. and its all gone so easily?

How can the NOKIA react like that? Is there nothing that can be done?
