Sir I have purchased one Nokia N8 mobile handset From M/s GEVIKA COMUNICATIONS Pvt. Ltd. # 56 Third cross Venkatanagar Pondicherry India 605011on 4 Nov.2010 Under their Invoice no. 158 .

The instrument was malfunctioning right from the purchase. I have approached M/S Rayal Service # 361 M.G. Road Pondicherry 605001 (The Local Nokia care center) they have done some adjustment and returned me saying the set is working fine but I found it was hanging and the Maps was not showing correctly.

At my second approach the man at the counter told me that some files were missing in the instrument and these are not available with him so he advised me to meet a nearby Nokia dealer.

I was surprised when the dealer asked me to pay Rs 250 for the files loading which I have refused and went again to the Nokia care center and they have taken the mobile for service on 20 Dec. 2010 at 15.35 pm under job sheet no. is 334465550/101220/57 and asked me to collect the phone at 18.30 Pm. At the evening they have told me that after reloading the software the Instrument is not booting at all and it has to be sent to their head office for servicing and it will take about 5 days’ time.

But till today they have not replaced the instrument and there is not any satisfactory response.

I have also approached to their call center more than 7 times at Phone no 080 30303838 there also they are asking more and more time of three days at each call, but the result is nil.

Please do the needful and ask the company to immediate replace new handset or repay the amount paid by me along with Compassion caused to me.
