I have bought an Usha sewing machine on 23-1 product model name USHA ALLURE, 2 years of warrenty. After working fine for a period of one year i came accross a major problem in the machine, which cause it to be non functional. So I have raised a complaint to customer care and they sent a service man at my place to check the defect. After detection, he told me that, the motor of the sewing machine is faulty and for correcting it, I need to pay for the motor, cause as per his version the motor warrenty has been expired which is only of one year not the mentioned 2 years of warranty. Which is surprising for me that, the warrenty period that they mentioned on warrenty card as well as on the bill is not correct.
I called once again to the customer care of Usha International, they told me that sewing machine warrenty is of 2 years, but the motor warrenty is of 1 year, which got expired and you have to pay 2000 extra to repair this. On to my surprise they told me that whatever we mention on the warranty card doesn't mean it is correct. So cause of this the customer care executive had exchanged heated words and with a rude words the person told me whatever you want to take action you can go further we dont care about it.
Even I had words with the vendor from whom I purchased my sewing machine, he told me that your electronic sewing machine is under warrenty of 2 years and it is not mentioned anywhere that the machine and the motor warranty is of different periods. Now after making several calls to the customer care, and with void results i am getting totally frusted and generating a negative feedback against the organisation and there services.
Now I request you to guide me and help me to resolve my concerns.
