Dear Sir,

I paid for a purchase of a dining table set on 28th Jan with a delivery promise on 10th Feb. On 10th Feb I got a call from the Home store saying that the furniture had been dispatched from Chennai but was delayed and would be delivered on 13th Feb.

When I followed up on 13th, I was told the furniture is delayed in Malaysia and it will take minimum 15 days to ship out from there. No confirmed date can be provided. There have been no storms or floods, it takes 4 days to ship anything from Malaysia to Chennai so definitely the staff would have been aware that the furniture has not reached Chennai. Inspite of that I was informed that it was in transit from Chennai.

The customer care manager was supposed to call me back with a solution and numerous follow ups have resulted in no replies form them.

Today is Valentines day and my promise to my wife of having a dining table home has gone for a toss thanks to Home Store.

You guys have been giving false statements and promises and are not aware of what to tell the customer.

I demand an immediate solution to this problem.
