My Father was treated for Angioplasty at Medanta and according to Dr. Balbir the operation was excellent and the family doesn't have to worry for 10-15years.
When my fatheer was admitted to Hospital, he has multiple symptoms including swelling in body and not having propoer food from couple of months. Dr. Balbir Diagnosed him and asked to admit immediately for further treatment. After Angioplasty my father is discharged on 03rd June. On discharge, We received the set of computerized instructional including medicine prescription (also computerised seems to be same for all patients.). On the very next day of discharge my father complaints about swelling in foot and hands. We consult our family doctor, looking at prescription he raised few points like the medicine listed in prescription itself cause Swelling and suggested to reach out to Medanta. We visited Medanta on 05the July and discussed the same and Br. Balbir agreed to remove those medicine. We are in the hope that my fatheer is recovering well although he was weak, we accepted it to be post treatment weakness and he will recover gradually. As a routine check up suggested after discharge from Medanta, we visited Medanta on 7the June. And Dr Balbir said, my father will be fine and no need to worry. And changed the medical prescription and asked to visit after one month.
And then the worst day of my life, on the morning of 10th June my father had a heart attack, we took him to the nearest hospital but unfortunately he couldn't recover and passed away.
It is very hard to believe, to suffer heart attack right after the treatment of angioplasty. I have no trust on thee Medanta Hospital.
Later on we reported thee incident to Medanta, they were just shocked to know it. Well they cannot do more than that.
