Buyalmost.com
Cheated and attracted with false promises

Hi,

I spent 27000 in Buyalmost.com and I have ended up with products worth of 19, 000. I advice people to avoid buyalmost, they won’t let us win any product. At the end you need to pay MRP lot of money to get the product.

Below is the mail chain (I had with them)

Avoid Buyalmost,

Kishore

Hi Mr. Venkata,

Please know that what you feel is only your perception, and there is no way that the auction behavior will be impacted by your bid alone. As said earlier, auction length depends on the number of bidders interested in the auction.

Dear team,

i have spent days in observing the Bids etc.. finally, i understood, only when i come with huge bids (to win). Some body keep biding. if i am not biding huge bids, auction ends with low price. why all action i spent thousands ended with record end price?

is there possibility "i can get atleast part of my lost RS:8000"?

Thanks,

Kishore

Hi Mr. Venkata,

We do understand and empathize with your situation.

Please know that as a trend we have noticed that auctions of higher MRP tend to attract more competition as compared to products of lower worth. You can use this trend to your advantage by incorporating it in your trading strategy.

BuyAlmost has numerous users, and some are very active bidders, however be rest assured that we take proper measures to ensure that all auctions run in the most fair manner possible.

Below are some strategies to win on BuyAlmost:

1.You should never start bidding in a BuyAlmost auction until you’ve been observing it for five minutes. This is the minimum amount of time it takes to get a feel for who your competition will be.

2. The Golden rule is that never pay over the retail price for anything on BuyAlmost. Unbelievably though, this rule gets broken quite often at BuyAlmost.

3. Look for an auction that’s low in competition. This may enhance your winning chances

4. One of the ways of reducing competition is to make the auction seem hopeless. Wait until the number of active bidders has reduced between 4-6 bidders. Now bid as early and often as possible to create the appearance of strength and even recklessness on your behalf, intimidating other bidders to drop out.

5. If you are not an experienced bidder, or you did not have luck winning an auction yet, you should practice your bidding skills on cheaper items. It is much easier to win a cheaper item and get great discounts. Generally, the cheaper the item the less interest it generates. It will attract fewer people, and you will have less competition.

Happy Bidding!

Hi team,

I have two accounts kroy and kroypatcha. on kroy i spent around RS: 8000 and on kroypatcha i spent RS: 19000.

At the end of all bids i have:

I purchased a 22" TV (on kroypatcha account in which i spent RS:19000)

i purchased water purifier (on kroy account in which i spent RS: 8000)

I never won any auction (all the auction i have participated ended with record ending prices). Both the product i have purchased, i have paid full amount.

On total for 27000 spending i got products worth of 19, 000 (as per bills i got from futurebazaar).

So i lost RS: 8000 on buy almost. as all auctions i participated ended with record ending price (i am getting doubt, how many ever bids i spent those much auction goes on and it goes to record ending. This Leeds me to lose auction even after spending thousands of money).

Show me some way to get my money back.

Thanks in advance,

Kishore
