HI,
I ordered (2nd June, 10:42 am) a Nokia N8 mobile from HOme shop 18 online and money was deducted from my credit card at the same time. The delivery time as per the site was 2 working days (if you place an order before 12, that day is also counted) there was no condition apply * at the delivery time. I called these guys after 3 days (6th June) of not receiving the phone. They said that they have some issue and were not able to deliver the phone in time. I cancelled the order in the same call. I was told that the order cancellation takes 24-48 working hours and then refund is done is 96 hours after that. Thursday, 9th June i got a call from them and was informed that my shipment is ready for dispatch. I told them that i have already cancelled it and dont need it now (complaint ref. no: 64651485) the guy told me that i will get the refund in 24-48 hours. Today, i got a mail that they have dispatched the product and i will get it in 2-3 days. I called them again and they said they will cancel the order and the device was dispatched because of some discrepancy at there end.
The problem is that my billing cycle for credit card is from 15 and if they dont refund money in time, i will have to pay interest on that amount as well.
Now, they have assured me that they will get back to me 13th June morning. I have lost trust in them because of what all i have been through.
1. i had to suffer because they did not deliver the product in time. first they told me i will get it by 4th JUne and later they said before EOD 6th and when i called on 6th they said they will deliver it in 2-3 days.
2. They could not even cancel the order in time even after multiple calls.
3.. Now they are not refunding money in time which is going to cost me.
All the loss has been on me so far. Please suggest.
