Debomita Bosu, Founder and Project Manager of www.tiroworld.com was contracted to build a cooking website for me. Although she said that I was her first customer, I entrusted her with building my website. She promised to do a good job in a timely manner and any issues raised by me would be resolved promptly. In order to secure the contract, she made a lot of promises. In reality, she did not even have web developers to build a website. She wasted 5 months building a few pages and got paid about $200 by me as initial payment. She fell short of delivering any kind of complete functionality. Throughout the process, she kept apologizing and asking for more time. I took on pity on her and relented, which was my mistake. She kept asking me for money without delivering any tangible functionality. She kept telling me that the website has been built and asked me to review it. I went through a rigorous review exercise multiple times and realized that it was a waste of time. None of my review comments were ever looked at by her or implemented, and the website is far from the specs, with extremely poor performance and quality. She had been lying and cheating all along.
Today, even after incessant delays and the poor quality of the incomplete website, my business goal has not been met and I have incurred a financial loss. I have also wasted 6 months and money without achieving anything. She has usurped my domain name and I have no access to it, or the source code. She has stolen Intellectual Property and the site domain name, and caused intellectual and reputation damages equivalent to $20, 000. She has not responded to requests for negotiation for completing the website, and delivering the source code. Her practices are unprofessional and unethical and her website makes false claims that she does not follow, like 24/7/365 service. Her website does not have any Contact information listed and lists a fake list of Client portfolios. I urge that severe action be taken against the founder of this company so that any more customers cannot be duped in the future.
