I happened to place an online order on the website of the company- www.montecarlocollections.in for one T- shirt and One Casual Shirt, and made the payment through credit card. I received the packet and only one product inside the packet and the parcel was not tempered. I happened to call their customer care centre and spoke to Ms. Gita Thakur and Mr. Jaspreet Singh. Initially, I was told by Ms. Gita that she would look into it and get back to me. After following up with them for many days, I was told by her that the problem was from their side and the Shirt shall be dispatched to me within few days. After few days, she told me that that shirt was out of stock and in lieu of that she'd give me a cash coupon for the same amount. I declined the offer and told her that instead you revert the payment into my account. Thereafter one fine day, Mr. Jaspreet Singh happened to call me and told that there was no problem from their side and hence there would be no refund or any coupon given to me. I asked him to make me to speak to Ms. Gita as she had committed to me a coupon for the same amount. To my astonishment, she renegaded and told me that she never made such an offer. It was a white lie and I was taken aback by the lie. In nutshell, they are cheats. In the whole fiasco I have been robbed off Rs. 900 + the amount spent on calling them day in and day out and also the mental harassment I was subject to.
