I had applied for an airtel broadband connection at my residence in New Delhi. The distributor took a cheque from me on 27th February and handed me duplicates of application forms with form no. 2091689.He assured me of a connection being installed by 2nd of march. The lineman came to me on 28th February (sunday) and refused saying that connection is not possible at our place as there is some technical problem with the only nearest tag available.

I had discussed this issue with the distributor as another distributor from another agency has refused to provide connection 1 month before the incidence. But the distributor assured me that connection is surely possible at my place as he has talked and confirmed with his senior (Mr. Anand Gupta) continuously for three days. But then even the problem arose and no connection was provided to me. After getting fed up of all this I decided not to take any further connection from airtel and wanted to have my cheque back. I inquired the distributor (Mr. Taran) about the cheque, he suggested me to stop the payment of the cheque but by the time I could take any action the amount of 2500/- got debited from my account.

Now I am waiting to get my refund back. In the meanwhile I tried to file a complaint on [email protected] but I got a mail back with rejection of complaint asking me to add an airtel landline number in the usbject but i could not to do so as I am not having any airtel landline number.

I hope for a feedback from any person from airtel.
