I had bought an Arrow trouser from their store in South City Mall in June 09. I had then worn the trouser in August only and after the first wash the back side of the trouser around the hips have become rough and wobbling of the cloth is being seen. I took back the trouser and gave it back to the store on 25th October with the complaint. They took the trouser and assured me that they shall get back to me within a week’s time on the issue. I received on call from the show room and I then went to the show room on 15th Nov. I was informed that here is no issue in the quality of the cloth and that I have probably used a strong brush on the back of the trouser which has caused the problem. It seems ridiculous that I will only use a brush on the back side of my trouser as only that patch has shown wobbling. I have not taken the trouser back and in protest I have left the trouser at the showroom. I feel very bad that a brand like Arrow has shown such a bad behavior to a customer. I have used many shirts and trousers of Arrow in the past also but there has never been any complaint.
I would request you to look into the matter and pass on the complaint to the customer service of Arrow. It’s not the value of one trouser but trust that has been broken and the fact that I was ridiculed in the store in front of other customers. I would also request you to kindly help as to how I can put up a formal complaint in the consumer courts regarding this.
