Amount wrongly debited from the PNB

Subject: Wrongly debit of Rs 5000/- to the account through ATM transaction.

Respected Sir,

On 19th of May at around 20.00 Hrs, I made a transaction at ATM of Bank of Baroda, Ghantaghar branch, Ghaziabad, (U P).

I insert my SBI ATM card in the ATM, feed all the required details like password etc. I also feed the amount to be withdraw as Rs. 5000/-. Then the dialogue appeared on the screen as “ Please wait, your transaction is in progress “. But suddenly the the dialogue disappeared from the screen and welcome screen appeared in that place. I wait there for about 10 minutes. But no money received from the ATM.

Next day when I withdraw Rs. 6000/- from SBI ATM, I found that additional Rs. 5000/- was debited to my account. (On 18th May amount balance in the account was Rs. 18013/-and after withdrawal of Rs. 6000/- from SBI ATM on 20th may the balance showing was Rs. 7013/- )

The amount of Rs. 5000/- is wrongly debited to my account.

You are therefore requested to kindly look in to the matter, check the ATM transaction of dated 19th May and please arrange to re-credit Rs.5000/- in my account.
