I had opened a Savings A/c (No.166010100176729) with Krishna Nagar (Delhi-51) branch of Axis Bank on 05/9/08. While opening the A/c I was suggested to opt for the "Smart Priviledge " A/c instead of the ordinary Savings A/c. I was told to maintain an average Qtly balance (AQB) OF Rs 10, 000 instead of Rs. 5, 000 (in the Ordinary Savigs A/c) for which I would be issued a debit card free of cost alongwith no annual maintenance fees for the same. I agreed for the same. But when I got my passbook I was shocked to see a debit of Rs. 57 towards card issuance charges. I have argued with them a no. of times alongwith my wriiten complaint (on their demand) but to no avail.
