When I have applied for Axis Bank Credit Card, I have been told that it is free for life at the lime of first Credit Card Statement Rs. 998/- was added in the statement with the head of Joining Fees and Annual Fees and Service Tax, I many time called to Customer Care and informed to Customer Care Executive about the said issue of Joining Fees and Annual Fees and Service Tax. I have requested to Customer Care Executive for Degradation of my Credit Card & reversal of the Joining Fees and he assured me that it will be done in 15 working days and gave me Request Numbers which are 59481, 59482, 39058 & 159618 but yet no action is been taken on the abovementioned issue and further debit interest levied to my account. On calling to Customer Care one of the executive answered that my card cannot be degraded and I have to pay the said amount.
Meanwhile I had returned my Credit Card Bearing No. 4718 6301 0032 7179 duly cut in four pieces to the bank and also hereby requestedto reverse the amount which levied to me unnecessarily. I assured that i will make payment on reversal of the said amount of Joining fees, Annual Fees, and other late payment charges and debited interest.
