Dear AXIS Bank Customer Service
On 16/08/08 in the evening my credit card was declined. When I called your call-center agent I was told that due to security reasons the same have been blocked. I was also told the reason being automatic blocking by system as it permits 14 swipes per day. The fact is that I had done only 5-6 transaction that day.
Yesterday (19/08/08) the above episode gets repeated after making 5 transactions. The facility to talk to your customer service agent was also not available at around 5 p.m. in the evening.
During both the days I had to stop marketing. I find the AXIS bank card totally unreliable. What is the utility of the card If I can't use the same when I need it. What if my situation was emergency in nature.
1. May I know what is the system.
2. Why I was not told about such security system.
3. Before blocking the card why can't the system take my consent over call/SMS or alert.
4. Is there any system where I can unblock the card immediately or tell the system not to block.
