Hello,
BMTC conductors are the most corrupt of all cities, i guess. Most of them do not issue tickets and keep 60-75 % of the ticket cost into their pockets and share the remaining with the passengers. Since passengers do not have any other option as conductors misbehave with them if they speak otherwise, this goes on.
To quote an example, from Guru reddy palaya boarded Bus nr. 366 at 10:30 PM on 01/02 and asked for a ticket to next stop by paying the cost of the ticket 3.00 Rs. The conductor put the money in his pocket and shook his head as though he was doing me a favour. when i asked for the ticket, he said i have to pay 5 Rs. It was a old bus and the cost of the ticket is 3.00 Rs. Since i did not like to argue, i paid and took ticket for 5 Rs. and got down at next stop BTM check post (shoppers stop). The Ticket nr. is NO 114 044020.
This kind of loot is going on and consumers of this monopolistic metropolitan transport is exploiting the poor commuters. Pls. take this up, if possible.
Thanks
Thomas
