Trap in form of priority circle membership fees

each concern,

i am a barclays gold credit card holder no 433*****9113.i have trapped for priority circle fees. actually on 26/02 between 4 to 5 pm i have receieved many calls from barclays priority circle about taking membership for Rs 5000 lifetime fees

i had told them to give me some times for think but they told that it was the last day, between the calls due to network problem the communiction was disconnected many times.

and finally calls were disconnected prior of finallisation. after that i call to customer care no 18002337878 and gave them details about calls at 5.30 pm on 26/02 and told them strictly that i am not interested in membership and not to give me membership they assure me that no fees was deducted and they had taken my complaint and assure me that no fees would be deducted for that.

after some days when i called to know my total outstanding it was showing that the membership fees Rs 5000 and service charges were deducted on 03/03.since then i had made many complaints even before preparation of march satement but only assurance were given but no action was taken .now i am feeling like in a trap.
