I want to terminate my Airtel Post Paid service and tried to do so by calling to the customer care of Airtel on 9890012345 several times.
The customer care representative instead of terminating the service, first asked me many questions why i want to terminate. I answered them. Then he said he is transferring my call to another department saying they will terminates the service and no one responded on that number. Then the call got disconnected.
After that I called the customer care twice and as soon as mentioned that I want to terminate the service to the customer care executive, my call was cut.
Later on, my calls were not at all transferred to the customer care executive at all.
This is ridiculous. My billing cycle is from 25th of every month and today is 24th. So it looks like these airtel folks will ask me to pay the fixed rental (599 Rs) for the next billing cycle as well by not taking my request to terminate the service today i.e on 24th March.
I would like to black list airtel if they do something cheap like this.
