Exclusive FCRA Account Cheque Deposited missing Regarding.
Dear Sir,
We wish to bring to your kind notice that on 05-03-08 we have deposited a cheque No. 040019576814 of Citi Bank, U.S.A.for #30 USD in your Adyar Branch. We have opened the account the Mosjos Healthcare Research Foundation & Charitable Trust at Madipakkam Branch. It is an exclusive Account for receiving Foreign Donations under FCRA Act of the Government of India. We have already informed your Madipakkam Branch with the relevant documents and the Home department the issuing authority has also informed your Madipakkam Branch. We have reminded the madipakkam branch by phone and also by letter. But they have never replied finally when we have sent a Registered letter vide MHCRF/429 dt.24-09-08 they have simply replied vide Nove 6th 2008 that not received the said cheque. All other Local Cheques in a different Account No. 083010100168106 in the same Axis bank Madipakkam branch deposited in Adyar branch has no problem. Your banks are doing the transactions under Corporate Banking with all computer banking facility and your madipakkam branch has shirked their responsibility and putting the blame on the other Adyar bank branch. This is not the correct way. We have received this very First Foreign cheque after getting the FCRA permission from the Government of India as a Donation. This irresponsible reply from a reputed Bank is very bad precedent. I hereby call upon you to deposit the equal amount Indian Rupees for 30 USD in our account with in 15 days from the date of receiving this letter failing which we will take legal action followed by vide publicity about the banks irresponsible reply, This is very first foreign cheque received since you have replied in a indifferent way shirking your responsibility we request you to pay Rs.50, 000/- for the damage caused as compensation to our Charitable trust involved in the uplifment of the poorest of the poor people of the society Narikuravars and daliths.
