Closing of SCB Milege Account

Dear Sir,

This is in reference to the complaint regarding my closing of above account.

As I was having this A/c since 8th March & there was a credit limit of Rs.1, 60, 000/-

During the process of getting the above A/c, it was never disclosed that this a/c will be for certain period, neither it is mention in any of your documents.

I had issued three cheques details given below irrespective of my current Available balance of Rs.1, 43, 230/- the cheque got return back & it was not cleared from respective A/c which create lot of embracement to my customer..

1. Dated 13th Mar to Metlife Insurance bearing Chq No 320080 Amt Rs. 36, 996/-

2. Dated 15th Mar to Priyank Chakradhar bearing Chq No 320082 Amt Rs. 10, 000/-

3. Dated 19h Mar to Metlife Insurance bearing Chq No 320080 Amt Rs. 85, 850/-

When I enquire the same with the SCB call centre they told me you don’t have any balance in this a/c & mention that your track record is not good so kindly pay back the balance amount Rs.16, 770/- at the earliest & close this account.

As per the above information I had deposited the above amount Rs.16, 770 on 18th Mar & requested the call centre to close the above account at the earliest.(Ref No: AS/SR/0308/194 reg closing of A/c & reason for chq return & A/c closed- Duration of complaint -4-5 W/D). Thereafter I checked the status on 25th Mar regarding my earlier complaint (Ref No: SU/ASR/0308/25 reg Complaint of my earlier complaint -4-5 W/D) & Chq return detail in writing. (Ref No: ANGELE/LC/0308/53).

I also receive the new debit card (Gold Card) & password which was valid till Mar. As per the online statement the available balance is still showing Rs.160, 000.51. I don’t understand if my a/c is frizzed then why you are sending the new Gold card?

As there was no call from the bank in this above matter, so called up today (7th Apr) (Ref No-SU/VEN/REC/0408/128).

Hope every thing is clear as mentioned.

Kindly close my account at the earliest & request the Bank not to approach me for any product in future.
