This is with reference to an ongoing problem from last 15 days... repeated requests to Airtel customer care have gone in vain. Every time talking to a new Customer Care Executive and explaining the entire wheel of events and problems is now becoming a tough job for me and is highly intolerable.
The careless behavior and zero response have urged me to write a strong email to you...
It started with my communication with an executive on 26th July, 2222 Hrs when I was assured and was also clarified on certain queries.
After going through further problems, I discussed the similar sets of problems with an executive who then transferred the call to MR. MRINAL VATS - (Reference no. 22211866 and 943139386) I was promised that my problems would be rectified in 48 hours.
Nothing Happened!!! I called Airtel yet another time on 1st Aug (Ref No. : 944162476) I was again assured by Mrinal that the problem shall be treated with his supervisor, No surprises!! Didn’t get any call from any Airtel Executive.
Called up Airtel again spoken with Mohammad Arif cited all my previous grievances (Ref. No. 945468581) -- NO RESPONSE YET AGAIN!!!
Shamelessly called up again, spoken with Mr Akash Sharma (Ref. No. 946586619) no response as of now.
Aah!! Such a pathetic response from a telecom giant of the country, I felt like cheated and find myself amidst a swarm of Frauds. Sorry for using strong adjectives but don’t have a choice either.
I have only quoted reference nos which I am sure, shall make AIRTEL aware of the problems But to other authorities marked in this email I am quoting all my problems and demands below:
My Grievances:
• Didn’t get CUG benefits since I have taken this no as a corporate connection in January ’08.
• I was assured that the STD call rates would be flat Rs. 1 (Mobile and landline).
• All my calls made to another no. 91- 9971010991 have been charged. (Though twas clubbed in CUG network)
• I was assured by the Customer care regarding my new no. 91-9650689944 that it very much lies in the CUG group therefore all call charges would be charged at Rs.0 For initial 500 minutes and 10 Paisa thereafter. But all the call charges to and fro have been charged at Rs 0.50.
My Demands:
• All my STD call made on landline and are charged at Rs 1.50, should cut down to Rs. 1, from the day of activation of this no.
• All my calls made to CUG network should be charged at Rs. 0, from the day of activation of this no.
• All the EXCESS money charged by AIRTEL so far have to be credited to my account or adjusted against future bills.
• All the mental tribulations and tortures caused by AIRTEL should be adjusted against a compensation Rs 50, 000 (Not to mention I have paid a lot of Opportunity cost and Time-cost in chasing AIRTEL)
