I hold a Barclay credit card 4339 4817 3152 8820 and part of Barclaycard pririty circle. I want to draw your attention towards the harrasment done to me as a customer by giving false promises. Inspite of n number of calls barclays has taken no action to my complains. I would take you step by step.
1) When I became a cardmember, the promises made were not fullfilled like i was told i would be given gift coupons which would allow me to buy any electronic item gifts worth 3500. I got a gift coupon but had the limitation of buying limited stuff. In spite of complains and n number of calls no action taken and no response recieved from the bank.
I yet showed the confidence and agreed to become the member of priority cirle. I asked for a written document of the promises made but was assured that it would be recieved once payment is made. I even took a confirmation that if i don't get the benefits as promised can i cancel my pririty cirle memebrship. It as agreed by customer care group. Now they say it is not possible to cancel it.
The promises made were
1) Strollely bag within 15 days of the receipt of the payment. ===== It is almost 3 month and have neither recieved the gift not any communication regarding the same. I called up customer care and got an answer that you may not have recieved it because vaerification has not been done. I as a customer is not responsible for the same.
I also want to know is there no heirachy in your group where can i talk to a supervisor of the customer care represntatative. As i am told that there is no one else to talk other than the person picking up the phone. Is this called a priority cirle???
2) Free Air ticket to any location in India with a avlid period of 9 months, which I specifically clarified if i can avail this offer any time within 9 months and was given the confirmation for the same. Now a recieve a letter asking me to provide the destination in 3 month for a future date. How feasible is this, is not understandable. It is expiring on April 1.
I call up customer care but no one is in a position to help me resolve the queries. No heirachy available to talk to any person other than the customer care.
I would request that if you as a service provider cannot resolve the queries of the customer and cannot stick the promises, pls cancel my card.
I hope you would look into the matter and cancel my pririty cirle memebrship and refund the money.
