Dear Sir,

I m a subscriber of Dishtv for around 5 years. Initially I used to pay Rs.99/- as monthly subscription charges, but without my permission they start charging Rs.110/- and again they start charging Rs.125/- Now what is happening is I m not even getting one month for next re-charge. Earlier my recharge date was 17th/18th of every month. Now i m not getting one full month. They are not giving any kind of reply for the mails I have sent. Yesterday I have done a re-charge of Rs.125/- but today i got an SMS saying that my next recharge date is 26th Oct-09. They are just cheating the customer due to lac of regulation in the DTH sector. If I discountinue the services I have to pay more than Rs.3000/- to a new DTH player for STB etc., reason I cannot use the same STB with other service provider. So customer has no alternate options, either to continue with what Dishtv provide or again spend Rs.3000/- again. It should be like mobile phones, customer should have the choice to change the service provider without buying a new hardware. Dishtv is just cheating due to lac of regulation in the sector. Please look into the matter and do the needful.
