Packing date printed on pack

I have purchased Lijjat Papad (Lijjat Punja 250g) from D Mart, Vallabh Vidyanagar - 388120 Gujarat on June 30.

I was quite surprised when I notice the packing date was printed on this pack July batch no. 92. Contacted to care taker of this D Mart, but he was unable to give any satisfactory answer on this.

Is it fact by such type of tactic companies are selling their expired product to customer.
