Sub: Complaint against charging higher revenue for the Service Connection No. 13730 and request for replacement of defective meter.
Dear Sir,
I like to draw your kind attention to the fact that the above meter has ceased registering since December. Kindly refer to the attached table of the units of electric energy consumed by me over last 63 months against the above Connection No. It is found from the table that total units of electric energy consumed by me over the last 63 months before the present electronic meter became inoperative is 9024 with the average per month as143.24 whereas after the new electronic meter was connected in Dec. the total units consumed is 1173 with an average per month as 97.75. But from June, your office has been charging an average of 900 units per quarter (i.e. 300 per month). From the average readings of new electronic meter as well as from the combined average of the two meters, this appears to be very much higher than the actual average units consumed by me.
I, therefore, request you to kindly correct the average electricity bill and refund or adjust the excess amount charged uptil now. I also request you to kindly replace the defective meter as quickly as possible.
