I, KRISHNA VARMA, am a resident of Krishna Vilasam, Kuttilanji, Iramalloor P.O, Kothmangalam in Ernakulam Dist. and holding a mobile phone no.9495948023. I had tried to extract a caller tune from another BSNL mobile number 9447011244 on 10.03.2008. Since I didn't get the tune I contacted customer care and registered a complaint (no.416227) on 14.03.2009. I was asked to wait for 48 hrs to get the tune but it didn't happen. The same complaint was reregistered on 20.3.2009 on a request from custmoer care but that too was invain. Thereafter I was asked to register a fresh complaint and number of the same is 428592 and asked to wait for 48 hrs. Unfortunately even after 48 hrs i didn't get the caller tune and BSNL has charged Rs.37 for this. To my surprise BSNL officials at Muvattupuzha couldn't help me and I was asked to follow up with BSNL TVM. Today I received a msg from BSNL saying the renewal cost of Rs.25 has been charged for the next month for no caller tunes given to me. In the meantime I had spoken to customer care several times to different personnel only to explain my woes. This shows the irresponsibility of BSNL and now I request your intervention very seriously to solve this matter urgently and if not possible pl.withdraw the charges and cancel the caller tune which was not given to me.
