Terrible Service

I have a Aqua Guard (Designer model). Since the working was erratic I lodged a service request 15/07. (Complaint No. 54721345). The Service Techincian attended on 16/07. The equipment was working when he arrived. He listened to our complaint and advised that the cartridge filter is clogged and needs to be renewed and would cost Rs. 450. We agreed and the filter cartidge was replaced. Thereafter the unit did not come on. He mentioned that some tuning would be required and carried out the same. Started working for few minutes and stopped. Then he could not identify the problem and opened up the complete unit. The way of his handling the equipment was extremely crude. He made couple of telephone calls to his colleauges and then, decided to replace the solenoid for the water inlet. He was playing around the PCB and finally said that the water switch was defective and he does not have the spare. It appeared like he was trying the trial and error methods and the final outcome was that the Aqua Guard stopped working. According to him this particular model has problems always and the PCB also has become weak. The replacement cost of the PCB would be Rs. 900 or so. The equipment is only 4 years old and such expenditures is going to come up then, the question is why Eureka Forbes sells such kind of products? The technician appeared to be on the job training without a trainer with him.
