I bought a vaccum cleaner from Eureka Forbes nearly 2 years ago. It started giving me trouble after 6-9 months. I have been calling Eureka Forbes and complaing ever since. 3 months after i first called them someone showed up unannounced at my doorstep. I was not at home as i was not expecting the service person and he convinced my staff that there was nothing wrong with the vaccum cleaner. It throws dirt back at you instead of sucking it in and so is pretty useless to me as far as vaccum cleaners go.

10 - 12 days ago i called Eureka Forbes again and as always i was assured someone would come within 2 working days. When no one turned up i called again, and again and again and each time a sorry sounding sales exec would assure me that someone would come the very next day. I think President Obama will visit me sooner than some service exec from this company.

I just feel that this behaviour can be gotten away with in India only. I am certain that the Eureka Forbes guys are not half as hopeless in other parts of the world. I think their international head or Asia Pacific head should be sent a copy of all the compalints they must get. Sadly I do not have that person's email ID or i would have done it a year back.
