I am a 75 years old retired person. In 15th November I had an agreement with a developer /promoter in south Kolkata who was building a apartment building. to purchase a 2 bedroom flat.
I had paid all the moneys and received the processions letter on 12th april. However on 14th April unfortunately the developer died. The developer was bachelor and had no will left as a result the registration power has returned to the landowner.
The land is jointly owned by 8 married sister. When I approached to them with a request to register my flat, some of the them were cooperative however there of the sisters and their husband are demanding large sum of money to give signature for registration and also misbehaving with me. I am a old person and for last 1 year I was not able to register the flat in my name.
I would like to know in this situation what are my option. I will be grateful if you can send some suggestions.
